Project Engineer
Kawerau engineering are specialists in their field, delivering complex heavy fabrications and on site installation and maintenance solutions to the Primary and Marine sectors across Australasia and Internationally.
We are searching for an additional Project Engineer to take responsibility for projects from quoting stage through to completion and client handover.
The role includes:
• Client and stakeholder management including development of new business
• Preparation of quotations and negotiation at Contract award
• Responsibility for project budget and programme
• Procurement
• Management of suppliers and sub-contractors
• Site installation supervision and management of Health and Safety
You'll have a minimum of 10 years' experience in Project engineering roles and be able to demonstrate understanding of the engineering project management process.
You will be:
• Tertiary or trade qualified
• Commercially aware
• Computer literate with MS Office and MS Project experience.
• Able to work autonomously and in teams
Ideally you'll have a Mechanical and Heavy fabrication background in the Rendering, Pulp and paper, Power generation, Waste water or similar industries.
