Production Manager

Patutahi Horticulture is a latest Technology, fruit Packing and Cool Storage operation located in the heart of Patutahi Gisborne.

This is a senior and pivotal role within Patutahi Horticultures packing service facility. The position requires a person to lead and nurture our production team to achieve efficient productivity and quality out comes for suppliers and customers.

Applicant Requirements:

- Proven people leadership
- Familiar and confident with computer driven technology and processing equipment
- Positive attitude and a great team leader.
- Health and Safety focused.
- Able to have some flexibility in work hours.
- Excellent attendance and reliable transport.
- Willing able and flexible to engage in other operational matters as required.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Manage and lead our production people to be the best they can be.
- Operate a HI- technology fruit packing system.
- To be aware and able to change people deployments and equipment settings in response to changing production demands.
- Control and adjust treatment processes.
- Maintain a base maintenance level of machinery and servicing awareness.
- Service fruit labelling systems to customer requirements.
- Reporting to tbc
The role is considered Safety Critical and is therefore incorporated in our pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing program for all staff.
