Altex Coatings Limited, NZ's largest manufacturer of industrial and marine coatings under the Carboline and Altex Yacht & Boat brands, has vacancies for self-motivated people to work in our Manufacturing Plant located in Tauranga. The primary functions of this role are the manufacture and packaging of paints and coatings. Currently we are operating two shifts per day | 6.00am - 2.30pm | 1.00pm - 9.30pm.
This full-time position can be a fast paced and often a busy role, so candidates need to be able to multitask, enjoy a challenge and be physically fit as some heavy lifting may be required. Pre-employment health checks will be arranged for successful candidates. Overtime and a subsidised medical health scheme are available.
The successful person will possess the following attributes: Ability/willingness to work in a Production environment Attention to detail and a willingness to learn Ability to work as directed and unsupervised at times Ability to work as part of a team Ability to prioritise work and follow instructions Accuracy with figures and attention to detail Current forklift licence preferred, but not essential as training will be given
