A man has died in a workplace accident near Hamilton this evening.
He got stuck between a swing lift and a shipping container at a warehouse in Hamilton.
Police, fire, and ambulance were all called to the industrial warehouse at Sharpe Rd in Rukuhia about 6.30pm.
The site is a distribution centre for Torpedo 7, an outdoor goods and sports store owned by The Warehouse Group.

Torpedo 7 spokeswoman Julia Morton confirmed the man was a contractor from a "local transport company".
"We're deeply saddened to confirm that a contractor from a local transport company passed away after a fatal accident at our Torpedo7 distribution centre in Hamilton yesterday evening.
"Our distribution centre is closed today while investigations are under way."
Worksafe has been notified.
