Police are responding to reports of a pedestrian being hit by a car in central Hastings.
A police spokesperson said police were called just after 2pm today to Karamu Rd where it was reported a pedestrian had been hit by a car.
There were no serious injuries and it was unclear how many vehicles had been involved, they said.
A bystander who witnessed the crash said a male driver had hit a man as he crossed the pedestrian crossing.
A car then rammed into the back of it, they said.
