Palmerston North Airport departure tax increases

Palmerston North Airport is to increase its departure tax from $3 to $5 and the extra revenue is expected to go towards the cost of upgrading the roads approaching the facility.

Airport chief executive Garry Goodman said the increase was intended to keep Palmerston North Airport competitive and allow continued upgrading.
