Nobilo Wine Group is recalling about 25,000 bottles of two of its wines after glass was found in bottles.
White Cloud Sparkling and Selaks Sparkling Premium Selection Marlborough Brut are being recalled after glass particles were found in two 750ml bottles of White Cloud Sparkling, Nobilo said in a statement.
Customers are
being asked to return the wine immediately to the shop they bought it from for a refund.
Nobilo Wine Group managing director Brian Vieceli said the company thought about 25,000-750ml bottles were on sale.
He said while no glass had been found in the Selaks wine it was bottled at the same plant as the other wine.
Two consumers had alerted the company after finding the glass which was not swallowed in either case.
The bottling contractor was investigating and production of the two sparkling wines had been stopped.
