A pharmacist caught selling drugs, including prescription drugs, from a North Shore rental property has been sentenced to home detention.
Samer Dabous, 33, was sentenced in Auckland District Court today on charges of possessing to sell Class B drugs.
Judge Claire Ryan said Dabous should have known better than totake the drugs easily available in his position as a pharmacist then illegally sell them.
Dabous's landlord became aware of a smell coming from the property and a police search turned up the drugs on December 4, 2011.
Dabous was found to be selling morphine, ritalin, diazepam and cannabis to friends.
