Nicole Kidman says she is in heaven after the birth of her "precious little angel".
The Oscar-winning Australian actress has told of the love she and husband, country music star Keith Urban, have for their daughter, Sunday Rose, born less than a fortnight ago in Nashville, Tennessee.
"We are in heaven," Kidman wrote in an email to her friend and New York Post columnist, Liz Smith.
Smith published the email today.
"Can't stop staring at her in complete awe," Kidman gushed.
"Feeling incredibly blessed to have been given this precious little angel.
"Can't wait for you to meet her!"
The newspaper also reported Kidman and Urban have decided against selling photos of their daughter to a high-paying magazine, although it was suggested the Australian couple originally out-priced themselves with a US$3 million ($3.93) price tag.
"She wanted US$3 million and we weren't going to pay that," an unnamed magazine editor was quoted by the Post.
A representative for Kidman rejected that.
"A number of publications called to offer money, but she never considered it," the rep said.
