The trial of Sainey Marong, charged with murdering Christchurch woman Renee Duckmanton, has been adjourned for the day.
Today would have been the third day in the trial at the High Court in Christchurch, which is set down for three weeks.
The 33-year-old butcher, originally from Gambia, allegedly strangled the 22-year-old sex worker on May 14, 2016, dumping and burning her body off a rural Canterbury road the next day.
The trial will recommence tomorrow morning.
