An alleged organised shoplifting crime group has been busted with police finding a large number of stolen items, a firearm, ammunition and drugs.

Canterbury police arrested four people and charged them with a total of 130 charges including shoplifting and aggravated robbery.

A 27-year-old woman, 30-year-old woman, 28-year-old woman and a 15-year-old male appeared in court this afternoon.

Police said they will face further charges next week.

The arrests came after police searched two addresses in Aranui, Christchurch.
