Police looking for an intellectually disabled man who went missing near Palmerston North yesterday found him in Upper Hutt tonight.
Karl McGlinchy, 30, had last been seen about 7.30pm on State Highway 57 in Aokautere, on the eastern outskirts of the city.
He had been reported missing from his residential
care facility when he failed to return from a bike ride.
But tonight he was found safe and well in Upper Hutt, and police thanked the public and the media in helping in the matter.
