Strict suppression orders remain in place for a prominent Auckland professional and another person, despite the fact one of them yesterday pleaded guilty to a charge and the other had earlier had a charge against them dropped.
The prominent professional had a single charge withdrawn by the Crown at a pre-trial hearing last week after Judge Colin Doherty considered there wasn't sufficient evidence.
At the Auckland District Court yesterday the other person in the case pleaded guilty to the single charge they faced and was sentenced.
