The Manawatu farmer who died following a farm bike accident has been named.
Shawn Humphrey, 28, died from severe head injuries in Palmerston North Hospital about 5.30am yesterday, the Manawatu Standard reported.
On Thursday he was riding his farm bike when he crashed into a quad bike ridden by his father, Brian, at Halcombe, 32km northwest of Palmerston North.
The father suffered a minor injury to his hands but was otherwise unhurt. Neither man was wearing a helmet.
