Suffering motorists this morning received some solace after recent petrol price rises with BP putting its petrol prices down three cents a litre.
BP spokesman Jonathan Hill said the company had put 91 octane down to 148.9 cents a litre and 96 was down to 153.9.
Diesel prices remained unchanged.
