Nelson winery for sale for $10m

An award-winning winery in the Nelson region, Waimea Estates, has been put up for sale with a price tag of $10 million.

The winery, vineyard and associated cafe and restaurant, 16km southwest of Nelson, are owned by Trevor and Robyn Bolitho. Waimea Estates has been producing wine since 1997. This year Waimea Estates bottled 22,000 cases of wine.

Real estate agency Colliers International says it has already received inquiries from overseas buyers. The property is made up of two blocks, one 28.8ha, the other 13.5ha.
