Pictures of the North Shore's most wanted will soon be appearing on the windows of police patrol cars.
Those wanted for burglary and car thefts are among the criminals featured on posters to be placed in the back passenger windows of 25 police cars that travel throughout the North Shore
area.
Inspector Mike Hill says the aim of the campaign is to enhance public safety by locating people with outstanding arrest warrants.
"We want to work with the community's help, to target repeat offenders. The people featured in the posters will be those who have shown us they are unwilling to change their ways.
"We will be putting our resources into ensuring they have little opportunity to continue their criminal career."
Mr Hill says the posters will only profile those who have warrants for their arrest.
