A 10-year-old boy missing since yesterday afternoon is back home, police say.
Police were last night and early this morning appealing for sightings of Jared Haimona, who was last seen at his Clarkin Rd, Hamilton, home just after 3pm yesterday.
A Waikato Police Facebook post about the boy was shared2600 times and sparked hundreds of reactions and comments, including from a relative who had been out searching for the boy.
"Thank you all for caring," she wrote.
A police spokeswoman confirmed just after midday that Jared had returned to his home this morning.
