Manslaughter finding in death of security guard

An 18-year-old South Auckland man has been cleared of the murder of a security guard.

But a jury in the High Court at Auckland last night found Trent Rhys Manukau guilty of the manslaughter of 51-year-old Mamoe Kaisala, who died from a single stab wound.

Manukau was also cleared of the attempted murder of Fala Faapo, 23, but was found guilty of causing him grievous bodily harm with intent.
