Save A man was stabbed in the chest during an attempted robbery in Christchurch.
Police said the 30-year-old victim was in his parked vehicle in Dallington when he was approached about 8pm on Saturday.
He was stabbed in the chest and arms before he managed to flee.
He was treated at
hospital but his injuries were not serious.
Anyone with information was urged to contact Detective James Haigh at New Brighton police.
