Invalid beneficiary Peter Lindsay James Whitworth pleaded guilty in the Christchurch District Court yesterday to stealing three paintings worth $46,500.
He was remanded in custody for sentence. The works stolen were Tasman Dance by Alan Pearson, Tasman Bay at Mount Arthur Range, by John Gully, and Boats at Salonika, by Peter McIntyre.
