NZME. has a rare vacancy for a junior sub-editor at its Community Newspaper Sub-Editing Hub in Tauranga.

The position is ideally suited to a journalism graduate with a passion for language, an eye for design, a strong focus on detail and the ability to quickly master new technical skills.

The Hub is a small, busy unit which produces up to 30 tabloid and broadsheet publications each week, liaising with editors, commercial and production teams and press sites throughout the North Island.

This is a rewarding role in a thriving section of the NZME. Local Network operation - based in the fast-growing city of Tauranga.Nightshifts and weekend work are not normally part of the Sub Hub operation, allowing plenty of opportunity to enjoy the idyllic Bay of Plenty lifestyle.
