Gisborne police want information about the robbery of a pharmacy on Monday night.
Two Maori men in their 20s, each carrying a sawn-off shotgun, entered the David Moore Pharmacy on Delatour Rd, Gisborne, about 7pm.
Staff and customers were forced to lie on the floor while a small amount of cash
and pharmaceutical drugs were taken.
Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Scott said the men then drove away in a blue Ford Laser which was found abandoned near the pharmacy yesterday morning.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Gisborne police on (06) 869 0200.
