THIS spectacular Gladstone house, built by Masterton builders D.R. Borman Limited, has won the Supreme Award at the Wairarapa Registered Master Builders House of the Year show.
The house, built for Ian St George and Kirsty McDonald, picked up a highly-prized gold award for the builders earlier in the awards evening,
held in Martinborough on Friday night. It also won the category award, in the new homes $600,000 to $1 million category, as well as the Future Proof building award.
There were two other gold award winners on the night. Moss Brothers of Masterton struck gold for a Greytown property in the new homes $450,000-$600,000 category, while in the same category, M.B. Brown Limited received a gold standard award for a property in Martinborough.
Other winners on the night included one bronze and one silver award for Pahiatua company Rankin Building, a silver award for Tararua Builders and further silvers for D.R. Borman Ltd and Design Plus Ltd.
