University, Johnsonville and North City will be aiming towrest the trophy from the defending champions.
This tourney will be played at Rathkeale College which provides the ideal facilities for players to brush aside the cobwebs accumulated over the winter months.
The coach of the Goats for the 2010-11 season, Craig McBride, has been delighted with the number of players turning up at training sessions.
Paul Lyttle will again captain the Goats and their star player, Central Districts all-rounder Seth Rance, will be back on deck after he has fully recovered from injury.
Junior cricket is also about to start and Greytown will soon be calling for registrations from interested players. Former Central Districts B and age-group rep Mark Childs will be in charge of the junior hardball team.
