General Manager Role
Pacific Island Community Trust Tauranga is a health Provider and other MSD services here in the western Bay.
PICTT's Mission is to promote and represent the interests and welfare of Peoples of the Pacific Island who resides in the Western Bay of Plenty.
PICTT's main Purpose is to Promote an awareness of the Services available to Pacific Island People in the Sectors of Health, Education, Employment, Immigration, Justice and Social development in the Western Bay of Plenty and assist in ensuring Pacific Island Peoples understand Such Services and to access them and receive the benefits of Such Services.
As a General Manager You work closely with the Board in order to fulfill the organization mission.

• Set Overall strategy, direction and goals
• Steer organizational leadership
Jointly a report to the board you will be responsible for the leadership and management of PICTT's Services
Being part of a rapidly evolving and growing organization, you will use your skills and experience to contribute to the Strategic and Operational development of the Services PICTT provided along enhancing its contributions to the organization and funders goals.
Critical to Success in the role will be the enthusiasm, drive and proven ability to lead and develop sustainable services within budget, as well as your track record of leadership of PICTT's dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities
• Development and implementation of Strategy
• Business Planning aligned to organizational objectives
• Management of Physical and financial resources
• Building Strong Partnerships and relationships with Key Stakeholders, including funders, government agencies, other community organizations and the general Public.
• Track record in the implementation of delivering continuous quality improvements
• Proven track record of fundraising, marketing and community outreach.
• Excellent HR record of hiring competent, qualified Staff through transparent hiring and selection process

Professional Qualification/skills
• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent tertiary qualification
• Five or more years senior Management experience
• Solid, Hands-on, budget management Skills, including budget preparation, analysis, decision-making and reporting.
• Strong Organizational abilities including planning, delegating programme, development and task facilitation
• Strong written and Oral Communication Skills
• Ability to convey a vision of PICTT's Strategic future to staff, board, volunteers and funders.
• Suitable applicants will ideally have clinical and management qualifications.
• Experience and knowledge of working with Pacific Communities
