Gardening awards for tenants

A gardening competition for state house tenants has been launched.

Housing Minister Steve Maharey said the garden awards - run by Housing New Zealand - aimed to recognise the efforts of tenants who took pride in maintaining their gardens.

Winners will get garden shop vouchers.
