Fire services battle dramatic cabin fire in Cockle Bay, East Auckland

Fire services have been fighting a dramatic garage blaze in East Auckland this afternoon.

Fire and Emergency said they attended a fire at a Cockle Bay property at 1.50pm.

Two fire trucks, a support vehicle and a fire investigator are at the scene, shift manager Lauren Sika said.

Firefighters are tackling a large blaze at a house in Cockle Bay, East Auckland.

Images from the scene show large plumes of black smoke pouring out of a cabin as firefighters target the blaze with hoses.

No one has been harmed in the blaze, a source told the Herald.
