All three are from Fairfield and will appear in the Hamilton District Court on January 28.
Each faces a maximum penalty of a $2000 fine for having allegedly supplied the boy with eight cans of Cody RTDs and two shots of liquor.
The boy's father said the arrests were a relief to both him and the boy's mother, whom he separated from last year.
"I'm happy as. It's just a real relief that this has happened and we can just focus on more positive things now for my son," he said.
"It's sad that this whole thing happened in the first place," he said, but he was happy the three would be appearing in court.
The man, whom the Herald will not name to protect the identity of the boy involved, said he knew one of the people involved but was unaware of who the other two were.
He said his son was at his grandparents' Hamilton home and was "doing well".
The man said he was taking legal advice saying his son's privacy had been breached by the video's posting.
Bradley Goudie, the man who posted the video, re-posted it late last week after police contacted Google to have it removed saying it revictimised the boy. The video has had more than 1.1 million hits on YouTube.
