GasNet is seeking a highly motivated and positive person with excellent people management and leadership skills to fill a vacancy left following the resignation of the current position holder. The role is fulltime and is based in our offices in Whanganui.
The Engineering Supervisor reports to the Engineering Manager and is responsible for the supervision and control of labour, plant, equipment and material resources associated with the construction, operation and maintenance of activities related to GasNet's natural gas network and metering assets.
The ideal candidate will be an effective leader and have a high level of understanding and experience in utility or civil construction. A Level 3 National Certificate in Gas Network Operations is desirable but not essential. A high level of personal honesty, integrity and reliability, along with excellent interpersonal, communication, people management and organisational skills are essential.
