Destiny teens promote message of abstinence

More than 250 teenagers will promote the message that self control is better than birth control at the launch of Destiny church's abstinence programme.

Destiny's teen programme promotes no sex before marriage and also targets abstinence from alcohol and drugs.

On Friday week more than 250 teenagers will make a declaration of abstinence from sex, alcohol and drugs - symbolised by a gold and diamond ring worn as a reminder of that commitment.
