Police are on the hunt for the current location of Wellington man Norman Petrie.
The 76-year-old man suffers from medical conditions and his disappearance on Monday has led to the concern of his family and police.
He was last seen in the Naenae area of Lower Hutt yesterday, police said.
Mr Petrie is described as a thin man with greying brown hair that sits above his shoulders.
He has a full beard and moustache and is 167cm tall.
