CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Based in Whakatane, Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua is a highly successful provider of a range of health and social services based within a kaupapa Māori framework, with an emphasis on tikanga Māori.
Te Puna Ora o Mātaatua has developed a strategic expansion plan and is inviting applications for the position of Chief Executive.
We seek an individual who has a background and experience in advancing kaupapa Māori approaches to wellbeing; has a strong desire to make a significant contribution to better health and social outcomes for Māori; and has an effective and relevant network of relationships within both the government and private sectors.
The ideal candidate will:

A sound understanding of tikanga Māori is essential for the role. Fluency in te reo Māori and connection to Mātaatua is desirable, though not essential.
