A man has been arrested after shots were fired at a house in Motueka on Saturday.
A 41-year-old Motueka man was arrested and charged after the armed offenders squad and CIB raided a house in the town this morning, seizing several items.
No firearms were found, police said.
They were investigating an incident on January 3 in which shots were fired at another house in Woodlands Ave.

The man has been charged with careless use of a firearm and unlawful carriage of a firearm in public. He is due to appear in Nelson District Court this afternoon.
Police believed more than one person was involved in the incident and the investigation was continuing, Detective Senior Sergeant Craig Johnston said.
"We are continuing to receive good information from members of the public which we are following up," he said.
