Former Kimberley Centre residents living in a Hastings house for five months are still waiting for promised day care services.
New Zealand Care Group is being contracted by the Health Ministry to set up residential services for the six intellectually disabled people. It was told only recently that the ministry wanted it to provide day services in Hawke's Bay for residents moving from Kimberley. A start date was possible in about two months, a company spokesman said.
