At "The Daily" we have three passions; food, coffee and people. We're passionate about seeing people connect with each other, develop relationships and do good in our community of Te Puke.

The Daily has been established as a place where anybody and everybody can wander in and experience fabulous fair trade coffee, fresh wholesome food with a European vibe, and a warm welcome from people who care.

Profits from the cafe will go back to the people of Te Puke with the purpose of building community and looking out for those who are finding life tough.

Success to us is getting the right staff. Staff with the x-factor, staff who know what great hospitality is and showcase it every single day. Staff who are willing to share what they know to develop others. Ideally our staff will have experience in working in a busy café, have a passion for food, coffee and people and enjoy working in a fun, friendly environment.

So with this in mind we are looking for 3 awesome team members that can bring The Daily to life:

Barista
Ideally you're someone who can step in and hit the ground running. You will be well experienced in café settings, adaptable and able to work on the floor as well as being self-motivated and pro-active with a passion for making your customers feel awesome. You will be responsible for making great coffee, assisting with day to day café activities, as well as coaching in barista skills.

Cook/Chef
Are you a cook/chef who has a passion for presenting and delivering delicious, creative food to a high standard? We want you! You will be experienced and able to work unsupervised as well as in a team. If you can think on your feet, work wonders under pressure, and create yummy morsels of goodness then you're exactly what we need.

Front of House/Customer Service
You'll be the first person our customers meet when they walk through our door and responsible for flashing your dazzling smile and radiating awesomeness! You will need a certain spark with a natural fondness for people of all walks of life. You'll need to remain calm under pressure because it will get hectic during the busy lunch time rush.

You must be eligible to work in New Zealand. These positions are all paid positions, require police vetting and may require weekend work.
