Burst water main closes west Auckland road

A section of a west Auckland road is closed after a water main burst.

Police say it is likely that the section of Birdwood Rd in Massey, between Chamberlain Rd and Mudgeways Rd, would remain closed until tomorrow.

Auckland Council staff and contractors were on scene and organising repairs this morning.

Diversions are in place.
