BOP Brand Engagement Manager
An exciting new role with the NZME Brand Engagement, based in Tauranga. We are looking for a highly driven media/promotions/integration legend to lead the Brand Engagement team in Rotorua and Tauranga and take it to the next level.
Reporting to BOP General Manager and GMBrand Engagement this role will managing all aspects of the region's event partnerships for both radio and publishing, commercially led Brand Engagement campaigns and execution of network radio activity as determined by network heads.
We are looking for someone who is dynamic, hardworking, competitive and thrives in a fast paced multi-dimensional workplace. You must have the tenacity to tackle anything that constant change may bring and be willing to learn the capabilities of NZME platforms.
You will be required to manage the young and enthusiastic Brand Engagement coordinators in a manner that keeps them engaged, focused and motivated. You will take the lead on all activities and initiatives from planning event activations to managing an annual on-air sponsorships, and local event partnerships. You must have the skills to project manage multiple campaigns at one time, to a high standard as that is what our commercial team and clients demand.
We are looking for a person that has demonstrated commercial tenacity and the ability work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. It is a pre-requisite that you come from a radio background or comparable work environment as you will be required to hit the ground running. We will need you to be highly organised with great attention to detail, and excellent time management. To keep ahead of the game in a highly competitive market you will need to be innovative and creative; willing to push the boundaries with strong and compelling written and communication skills.
People management is desirable but not a pre-requisite, if you have carved out a career delivering excellent radio promotions and are looking for the next step which includes people management, mixed media solutions and offering strategic direction, we'd love to hear from you.
