Auckland restaurant trio in court on exploitation charges

Three Auckland restaurant owners have appeared in court facing charges relating to the exploitation of workers.
Any details identifying the accused or their businesses was suppressed by a community magistrate at Auckland District Court.
The trio appeared together and were represented by their lawyer, Ron Mansfied.
The Ministry of Business,
Innovation and Employment (MBIE), who bought the charges against the accused, was represented by Shona Carr.
Name suppression will be re-evaluated at their next appearance in May.
