Auckland Council staff are investigating an insect swarm in the central city this afternoon.
A member of the public alerted council at about 12.15pm to a swarm on the corner of High and Shortland Sts.
In a video seen by RNZ, a swarm of what appears to be
bees can be seen buzzing in downtown Auckland.
The council has confirmed it is investigating.
