14-year-old boy admits rape

A 14-year-old Stratford boy pleaded guilty in the New Plymouth Youth Court yesterday to the aggravated robbery and rape of a 33-year-old woman.

The boy, who cannot be named because of his age, will appear for sentencing in the High Court at New Plymouth next month. He has been remanded into the care of Child, Youth and Family.
