Fiji's Opposition Labour Party was considering boycotting Parliament over the way in which the Government has denied it seats in cabinet.
Labour leader Mahendra Chaudhry said his party would hold rallies around the country to brief supporters on what was happening.
Chaudhry declined to be specific on whether there would be a boycott of Parliament next month.
"No one in the country can say what we are doing is wrong because it is quite evident our constitutional right to be in Government is being taken away from us.
Party lawyers were preparing to file a case in court challenging Laisenia Qarase's cabinet.
