Watch: Guilty dog has destroyed the couch

Benny the hound can't hide his guilt.

Resting on the green leather couch, shredded to pieces, stuffing bursting out, Benny is asked by his Dublin owner John O'Kelly (who goes by the name Mike Patton), "Did you do this?"

The cute rescue dog begins to look nervous then pretends he hasn't heard the question and turns his back to the camera.

He reclines trying to look innocent, and even tries to get tummy rubs at one point, but Benny's scruffy face says a thousand words.

Benny is one of two rescue dogs owned by O'Kelly, according to People Pets.

They have an "extensive history of destroying my house," O'Kelly told the Storyful.

As one commenter on the YouTube video writes: "Not sure yet whether he did it or not. Gonna have to see a little more evidence".
