Do you need another reason to cry yourself to sleep because you're not married to crushingly handsome actor Jon Hamm?
Just jokes, course you don't. Hamm - who plays Don Draper in the US series Mad Men - has already taken a brave stand against two of the biggest tragedies of our time and is a loyal partner to his savvy screenwriter girlfriend, Jennifer Westfeldt ("After 10 years, Jennifer is more than just a girlfriend. What we have is much deeper and we both know that") - AND he has his very own internet meme.
(Also, this.)
He still hadn't offered advice to nervy teenage girls, though.
So as part of Rookie magazine's excellent Ask a Grown Man series, sensitive Hamm tackled the heavy issues with furrowed brow - and the sort of understated humour that lady-dreams are made of.
My next piece of internet, on the other hand, is something I should probably write stern words about. But I just can't; it's too funny. This loon talks like he's just come out of a 60-year coma. Maybe he has? That would make more sense than what he's trying to say.
What's a bit concerning is that Rev Jesse Lee Peterson (his name), a tea party activist in the US, is very chummy with Fox News's Sean Hannity, and has been a guest on Hannity's show A LOT. That's a very popular US show, readers.
My favourite bit is at 7:29:00, "You walk up to [women] with a issue, they freak out right away. They go nuts. They get mad. They get upset, just like that ... They don't have love. They don't have love." (.)
They don't have love! They don't have love! Skip the first 30 seconds; it takes him a while to start forming whole sentences.
In summary, Jon Hamm scoops the prize for everything, and Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson should go back to sleep.
