Cleese is the manic owner of Las
Vegas' tasteless Venetian Hotel and Casino (now, why is that ringing bells?) who lures a group of smalltime gamblers into a race from Vegas to New Mexico, where he's stashed $2 million in a left-luggage locker. What they don't know is that Cleese has involved a group of bigtime gamblers in betting on the winner.
