Aussie model Jen Hawkins has received some pregnancy pointers from her celebrity mates after she posted online about her morning sickness.
"Today. So happy my all day nausea is finally easing up!" she posted on Instagram, with a picture of her sitting on a couch beaming.
It was accompanied by the hashtag #jeanswontbuttonup #herewego and attracted more than 19,000 likes in less than five hours.
Among the many who commented and offered advice was actress and model Megan Gale and The Project host Carrie Bickmore.
"You need to do the hair tie on the top button trick," Gale said with a wink emoji.
Hawkins replied: "ha ha, yes! I have a hair band on these jeans. Next stop maternity jeans."
Bickmore could sympathise with the morning sickness.
"Is the actual worst. just keep your eye on the cute squishy prize at the end."
The 35-year-old former face of Myer told her Instagram fans earlier this month that she and husband Jake Wall were expecting a baby girl.
In a post on Instagram on May 10, she uploaded a photo of the two of them, while showing off her small baby bump, which has started to appear.
Hawkins wrote: "I'm sooo happy to share with you some exciting news! Jake and I are expecting a baby girl!!! We can't wait to meet her!
"Thank you to our beautiful family and friends for their love and support and, most importantly, to my hubby Jake — I can't wait to see you as a Daddy! @jakewwall xx"
Hawkins and Wall tied the knot in June 2013 in a romantic, star-studded ceremony in Bali.
They had been a couple eight years prior to that and first met back in 2003, just months before she went on to win the famed Miss Universe beauty pageant.
Hawkins stepped down from her role as a Myer ambassador after 12 years last year, and indicated she wanted to have a family one day.
At her final runway show, she told The Herald Sun: "I'd love to have a family, it's taking the time to look ahead.
"I want to have the time to be able to do that."
