Bad news for Gail and Roger.

The least popular baby names of 2017 have been revealed - and some might surprise you.

According to website Baby Centre, 24 names reached the "endangered list", including 14 girls' names and 10 boys' names.

Clive, Janice, Cilla and Gus have not seen a single registration with Baby Centre.

And although Cindy is most famously associated with glamorous supermodel Cindy Crawford, even her name made it to fifth spot on the unpopular list.

Similarly, Anita has fallen out of favour with parents, having had its heyday between 1976 and 1983 before tailing off in recent years.

Frank was sixth most unpopular on the list, despite having celebrity links to the likes of Sinatra.
