Julia runs away to Lyle

Julia Roberts sought comfort after her breakup with boyfriend Benjamin Bratt with ex-husband Lyle Lovett, US newspapers report.

The actress flew to Nashville, where the country music singer lives, after her split became public. She spent time with Lovett, still a close friend, and was seen in the city browsing in book stores and having dinner with the singer.

Both she and Bratt denied anyone else had been involved in the split, despite claims she had a "steamy dance" with George Clooney on the set of Ocean's 11, the film they were co-starring in.

Clooney also denied the claim and said: "I didn't have time. I was too busy breaking up Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman's marriage."
