Jimmy's is an industry these days: margarita bars, a radio station, website, newsletters ... Albums from time to time, too. Beach House is typical Jimmy: literate or tongue-in-cheek lyrics (pregnancy is "a permanent reminder of a temporary feeling"), some self-skewering insights about being over 50 and still ina Hawaiian shirt, musings about a girlfriend on a health kick with her "other friend" ("you call it jogging, I call it running around"), a cover of Bruce Cockburn's Pacing the Cage and a couple of typically silly songs in Math Suks and I Play for Gumbo. Jimmy's still making woozy, margarita music for people with boat shoes.
No surprises then - not that you want or expect them from Jimmy.
