Tonight will see New Zealand Fashion Week 2011 officially launched with a party that celebrates "art, fashion and the naked form" - yes, that means body painting, courtesy of M.A.C makeup artists.
The fashion parade has already begun however, with Sabatini's 20th anniversary celebration at the Hilton's Bellini bar this morning kicking off proceedings.
Tomorrow will see the first full day of runway shows, beginning with the highly-anticipated debut from Auckland based designer Ingrid Starnes.
Our team will be live from Halsey Street all week, bringing you photos, videos and comment as the action unfolds.
We're excited to have actress Antonia Prebble joining us in our coverage this year. She'll be heading backstage at some of the shows with our cameraman Steve Orsbourn and chatting to the designers about their new-season collections.
In addition, Viva writer Zoe Walker and Canvas' fashion editor Dan Ahwa are this year's 'expert eyes', bringing you comment on the clothes being sent down the runway; and Weekend editor Catherine Smith will be heading backstage to find out the hair and makeup artists' secrets for her 'backstage beauty' pieces.
So no matter where you are, you can follow the latest fashion news online.
